Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Valentine’s Day 5K/10K
DATE: Feb. 9
LOCATION: Bar CCC Park, 10951 Twenty Mile Rd.

COST: 10K $35-$50, 5K $25-$40

This professionally timed event features an exciting 10K option along with the popular 5K run/walk and free Kids’ Dash for children under 8 following the run! Pre-registration, which closes at noon on Feb. 6, is $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K; a group discount is available at check-out. Space permitting, walk-up/race-day registration is an additional $5; check the website for availability. All registered participants receive post-race pancakes, a long-sleeve performance shirt, souvenir bib number, access to local sponsors at the event, professional timing, free downloadable event photos, a chance to win prizes and a fun community experience! Town Hall will be closed on Feb. 18 for Presidents’ Day. The facility will reopen for business on Feb. 19.

Coffee with a Cop

Come join some of your favorite Parker Police Officers and department staff for Coffee with a Cop, your chance to meet your local police officers over a cup of coffee and strike up a conversation.

Homeowner Building Class
DATE: Feb. 7
TIME: 6 to 8 p.m.
The Town of Parker’s Building Division will host its quarterly Homeowner Building Class on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. This class provides a chance to ask all kinds of building-related questions to Town staff, who will take you through the permit process, explain fees and discuss required inspections. This is a good opportunity to meet the people who will help you with the application and plan review process and also to meet with field inspectors.

Jan. 18- Feb. 10 - Disney’s Newsies: The Musical
Featuring classic songs like “Carrying the Banner” and “Seize the Day,” Newsies tells the tale of a band of newsboys taking on big business to fight for what’s right in turn-of-the century New York City.
Feb. 15 - Passion: The Parker Symphony Orchestra In an evening devoted to the evocation of earthbound and heavenly longing, desire and love, harpists Janet Harriman and Don Hilsberg join the PSO in “The Passion of Angels” and other fervent movements.

Feb. 16 - Family Discovery Series: ZooMobile
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s engaging Zoo Mobile team explores the roles animals play in sustaining our ecosystem. Discover these important natural behaviors as they feature the live animals themselves!

Feb. 23-24 - Wonderbound: Cupid’s Playground with the Colorado Symphony
This world premiere production will feature two works by Wonderbound’s Garrett Ammon and Sarah Tallman that will take you on a rambunctious journey exploring love’s many nefarious facets.

Feb. 28 - Comedy Extravaganza
Prepare to laugh and learn as members of The Red Shirt Landing Party introduce us to the world of improv comedy.

March 1-2 - Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy: Visions from Cape Breton and Beyond
Back by popular demand, MacMaster and Leahy once again showcase their unique talents and share stories of the first family of traditional fiddlers through dancing, singing and world-class music making.

March 6 - Underneath a Magical Moon
As they sleep under the stars one night, Wendy tells John and Michael the story of the boy who wouldn’t grow up. This fun re-imaging of Peter Pan has music, songs and a sprinkle of fairy dust.

March 9 - Bonnie and Clydes
One of the foremost Front Range bands, fiery Bonnie Simms and “The Clydes,” have been pioneering their unique sound of Rocky Mountain Country Soul with Powerful and memorable live performances.

March 22 - The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
This iconic and profoundly influential banc acted as the catalyst for an entire movement in Country Rock and American Roots Music with award-winning hits like “Fishin’ In the Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles.”

March 23 - Howard Jones
This British singer-songwriter burst into the contemporary music scene with synthesizers and thought-provoking lyrics. “No One is to Blame” and “Things Can Only Get Better” are among his many hits.

Parents’ Night Out
DATE: Feb. 16 and March 9
LOCATION: Fieldhouse
TIME: 6 to 10:30 p.m.
COST: $20 R/$22 NR additional siblings $15 R/ $17 NR

Parents, grab some friends and enjoy a night with adults while we watch your kids. Our talented staff will keep your kids active and entertained so you don't have to. We host plenty of games and activities, crafts, movies, climbing and skating to keep your kids busy. Children must provide their own skates. For kids who need a little down time, we show a family-friendly feature film and mini-films. The movie title will be posted at check-in. Concessions will be available to purchase. Saturday Skate Night
DATE: Feb. 9 and March 2
LOCATION: Fieldhouse
TIME: 5:30 to 9 p.m.
COST: $4 R/$5 NR

Grab some friends and bring your roller skates or blades to the Parker Fieldhouse on select Saturday nights for Skate Night! Participants can skate around the inline rink, listen to great, family-friendly music and play games. This is a time designated for open skating with no hockey allowed. Skate Nights are great events for skaters of all ages or teens who are looking for something to do on a Saturday night! Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult while at the Fieldhouse. Participants must bring their own skates. Skate Night admission does not include other Fieldhouse venues.
