Town Ordinance for Livestock, Poultry and Fowl
It has come to our attention that some HOA’s are considering changing their HOA regulations to allow residents to have chicken/poultry allowed on their homeowner’s properties. We would like to take this opportunity to let all homeowners know what the Town ordinance is in regard to chickens/poultry on their property. Regardless of what rules an HOA sets, all Town of Parker residents must follow Town ordinances, and we want to make sure all residents know these rules.

13.04.190 Household and domestic (noncommercial) hoofed livestock, poultry and fowl.
(c) Domestic, noncommercial use of poultry and/or fowl shall include, but not be limited to, chickens, turkeys, pigeons, exotic birds and ducks. Containment of the poultry or fowl shall be required and not be closer than two hundred (200) feet to any off-site residence or business on an adjoining property. The maximum number of poultry or fowl allowed shall be fifty (50) on any one (1) parcel. Poultry or fowl shall not be allowed for commercial purposes. If you have further questions about this ordinance or its enforcement, you can contact our Neighborhood Services division that handles code enforcement at 303.841.9800.
